Norris: "Ferrari poses threat to us"

The first and second practice sessions at Silverstone on Friday featured a battle between Ferrari and McLaren.

Lewis Hamilton led the first session with a Ferrari, while McLaren drivers were in second and third places. Lando Norris was at the top of the second session, followed by Ferrari drivers.

Speaking after the session, Norris praised Ferrari's pace: "My lap on the soft tyres was strong."

"But I think in general the Ferraris were very, very fast today and they will be so tomorrow."

"Ferrari is closing the gap in third practice, as always, and that was the case last weekend as well."

"To be honest, we still have some work to do. I'm happy with today's performance but nothing to brag about yet."

"There were still some difficulties on the track, obviously not everything went as smoothly as I wanted. The lap I did in FP2 was strong, but it's not strong enough at the moment."
